Washington, DC: American Association on Mental Retardation. - www.aamr.org This handbook provides information for self-advocates and others about consent. It includes specific information about consent and community living, consent and the law, finding an attorney, guardianship and alternatives, advance directives, appearing in court, consumer rights and responsibilities, sexuality and sexual expression. It is a great resource for people with disabilities and the individuals that support them.
